We had the opportunity to work with Becky and Julio at the shore in Brigantine, New Jersey. They frequent there during the summer and even the off season, setting the perfect scene for their engagement session. The weather was gorgeous on this particular day…we couldn’t have asked for nicer beach weather!
We met up with our couple at Brigantine Avenue, right at the American Flag – which seems to be a ‘landmark’ in that area. Lindsey decided to have a little fun before the session, bringing a patriotic feel to the day. If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of the “Star Spangled Banner” in the background! 😉

Caitlin is a big America’s Next Top Model fan. Kris has spent a large part of his life playing music. So when we met up with the two of them for their engagement session, we decided to throw a little inspiration their way by having them channel their inner ‘model’ and ‘rock star.’ They did just that!
Caitlin and Kris’ first date was at the Philadelphia Art Museum (awww), so it made sense that we spent a little time taking some pictures there. We ended our session over on South Street, complete with skateboarders, city street lights, and of course – Downey’s Pub. We got to work with Jenn and Ed in Philadelphia, PA for their engagement session. We started in Old City, at the EXACT location where Ed proposed to Jenn. It was quite the romantic setting.
We continued to work with them at a few other locations in the city, and even stumbled upon a crowded Love Park where a speech was being given by none other than Philadelphia’s Mayor, Michael Nutter!

We’ve actually known Eric and Nicole for quite some time now. We photographed Eric’s sister’s wedding a few years back, and now we have the privilege of photographing their wedding as well! It was so nice catching up with them and spending some time ‘getting to know each other’ here in our South Jersey studio. Our beautiful couple is taking advantage of two separate engagement sessions. For this particular shoot, they wanted to do something a little more “formal” here in our South Jersey studio, complete with Shiby’s stunningly authentic sari. We’re looking forward to session #2 as well. We plan on taking a little hop, skip, and jump up to New York City for bright lights, busy streets, urban atmosphere, and maybe the city skyline!
