We appreciate our clients. We love them like family, and we are so honored to be a part of their lives. Let’s face it – they are hiring us to photograph their wedding. A day that they have been dreaming about ever since they were a little kid. So when the level of appreciation is reciprocated, it makes what we do that much more enjoyable! Just recently, Valerie and Matt posted the most heartwarming review on our WeddingWire.com page. When you get the chance, be sure to read it HERE.
To say that this day was fun, is an absolute understatement. This couple, their families, their friends, all know how to party! They were all so hospitable, and we can’t thank them enough for allowing us into their lives.
Valerie and Matt, from the bottom of our hearts, congratulations on this next journey. We can’t wait for so many more momentous occasions in your life, because we know we’ll be there to document each and every one of them!
10 Bridesmaids. 4 Flower girls. 11 Groomsmen. 2 Junior groomsmen. Oh…and did we forget to mention over 400 guests in attendance?! Joanna and Billy’s wedding day was so full of excitement, hustle and bustle, that it all seemed to fly by in the blink of an eye. Even for us!
If we could only use one word to describe this magnificent day, it would be “FUN”. Groomsmen shaving Billy’s facial hair, Joanna telling us how excited she was, celebratory handfuls of rice, and an evening filled with traditional dances that kept the party going all night long!
Joanna and Billy, what more can we say other than “thank you”. Thank you for allowing us to photograph one of the most important days of your lives…thank you for hospitality…and thank you for being amazing friends! Congratulations.
When it comes to a wedding, traditional events and details play a major role in each couple’s day. For Megan and Miteswar, they wanted all of their families and friends to take part in both of their cultural backgrounds.
The day started early in the morning, when Miteswar took to horseback for his Baraat. Amazing musical performances and dances were held in his honor. If you’ve never had the pleasure of seeing this colorful event, you can check out a video clip we posted HERE.
Megan and Miteswar’s day continued as they celebrated in the Catholic traditions at Saint Teresa’s Church in Runnemede, NJ. But first, both Megan and Miteswar changed from their vibrant Indian attire into their formal Western wear…
The rest of the evening took place at the absolutely stunning vista at Top of the Tower. Guests were treated to amazing views of Philadelphia, top notch food and a packed dance floor. Just take a look for yourself…
Megan and Miteswar, thank you for allowing us to document this most special day. It was an honor to take part not only in your marriage, but also your cultures. Congratulations!
“For my wife to be. Hell, yes!” – AJ to Amanda
Neither Amanda nor AJ were nervous about their wedding and rightly so. It was a day that they had been planning for the past 6 months (yes, you read that correctly. Amanda is one organized planner!). From surfing the web to pinning ideas on the ever populating Pinterest, Amanda and AJ gathered all of the details that would complete their wedding. A beautiful pair of teal Badgley Mischka heels, a comfortable pair of Chuck Taylor Converse All Star sneakers, decorative Mason jars and a tasty bottle of Saison Dupont ale were just a few of the “little” things that made up the “big” event. From an impressive ceremony at the stunning Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul to a very modern-chic reception at Artesano Iron Works in Philadelphia, Amanda and AJ were surrounded by those they love most.
“To our family and friends, it means the world to us to have you here tonight. Thank you for the support, encouragement, antics, love and laughter you have contributed to our lives. You are our teachers, partners in crime, guides and favorite people in the world. All our love, Amanda and AJ”
Amanda and AJ – Well, it’s officially official. Congratulations on your wedding and we hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Bora Bora! Welcome home. For more images of their wedding, check out their personal Facebook album by clicking HERE.
Deanne’s Badgley Mischka heels, Lazaro wedding dress and Tiffany & Co. jewelry were all elegantly displayed in the bridal suite at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel in Philadelphia. As Deanne’s mom and maid of honor finished up the last few buttons of Deanne’s gown, Ed and his groomsmen were across the hall getting ready to make their way to Holy Name of Jesus Church. As family and friends crowded the streets of Fishtown with camera in hand, they awaited the bride and groom’s arrival.
Deanne and Ed met at Finnigan’s Wake in Northern Liberties, so it was only right we went back to the place where it all began! Ed got behind the bar, poured him and his wife an ice cold draft, and they toasted to becoming husband and wife.
Deanne and Ed – It was a pleasure working with you the day of your wedding, seeing you again only a few weeks later and hearing all about your honeymoon in Ireland. Sláinte! For more images from their wedding, check out Deanne and Ed’s personal Facebook album by clicking HERE.
All of the details that led up to Danielle becoming a bride — not one, but TWO pair of Badgley Mischka shoes, a Judd Waddell bridal gown, an heirloom ring from her grandmother, and a bride whose smile will light up a room. What more could we possibly ask for?! It was Danielle getting to see Bob for the first time. Or as Danielle calls him…Bobby. From their summer vacations in Ocean City playing miniature golf, to enjoying a delicious slice of Mack and Manco’s pizza, and of course, their allegiance to the Philadelphia Phillies, Danielle and Bob share so much together. But no amount of vacations…or pizza…or trips to Citizen’s Bank Park, will ever amount to the LOVE they share with one another.
Danielle and Bob – your wedding at The Curtis Center was magnificent. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day. Cheers! For more images of their Philadelphia Wedding, check out Danielle and Bob’s personal Facebook album by clicking HERE.
It’s been almost a year since we photographed Christina and Chris’ GTKY session in Philadelphia, yet it feels like it was only yesterday. And now, fast forward almost 365 days later, Christina and Chris have now become husband and wife.
The day started off with Christina. An absolutely breath taking bride who wore an Alfred Angelo wedding gown, that was completed with a pair of stunning Badgley Mischka heels. As Christina got dressed, her bridesmaids looked on and took lots…LOTS of pictures! Chris and his groomsmen had the music blaring in the party bus as the arrived at Holy Eucharist Church in Cherry Hill, NJ. The flutes began to play, the guests began to arrive and everything was in place ready to begin.
Their reception was held in the Empire room at The Merion in Cinnaminson, NJ. The ballroom looked beautiful as it was decorated in black, white and just a touch of hot pink. With entertainment provided by Extravagant Entertainment, there was never a dull moment on the dance floor. It was a night to remember for everyone.
Christina and Chris – “Love is like candy. It’s so much sweeter when it’s shared.” Together, may you always share the sweeter things in life. Congratulations! For more images of their wedding day, check out their personal Facebook album by clicking HERE.
It was about a year ago when we received a phone call from Rafelina. She and Daryl had just gotten engaged and had immediately started their wedding planning. The date was set, the Westin Hotel in Mount Laurel was booked, the ceremony and reception would all be held at the elegant Mansion on Main Street and their wedding photography would be created by Capone Photography. 😉 Rafelina and Daryl’s attention to detail is paramount! Whether it was Daryl’s Salvatore Ferragamo cufflinks, Rafelina’s hot pink Badgley Mischka heels, bottles of Armand de Brignac’s Ace of Spade champagne or boxes of Romeo y Julieta cigars…nothing was left out!
Raf and Daryl – We are so thankful that we go to be a part of your wedding and were able to capture all of the details that you planned for so long. The greatest detail being the love you share for one another. Congratulations! For more images from their wedding, please check out Rafelina and Daryl’s personal Facebook album by clicking HERE.
Michelle, stunning in her Badgley Mischka, anxiously steps out of her limo and enters the church where she will soon become Joe’s wife. Joe, with the biggest smile on his face, waits in a small room behind the very altar where he will soon become Michelle’s husband.
Filled with many loved ones, the Church of St. Nicholas of Tolentine in South Philadelphia is the perfect setting where Michelle and Joe make a promise. Their promise is forever. They exchange rings and become husband and wife.
The day is topped off with an elegant, Hollywood-Glam inspired reception at the Ballroom at the Ben, where Chris DiNardo of Steve and Company keeps the crowd moving…complete with the “Mummer’s Strut.” We also had the pleasure of working with Glen and Violet of GM Elliott Video, who were there to capture footage of this extravagant affair.
Michelle and Joe, you couldn’t have picked a better quote for your wedding programs to sum up your day :
“I dreamed of a wedding of elaborate elegance, A church filled with family and friends. I asked him what kind of a wedding he wished for. He said one that would make me his wife.” – Author unknown
On this day, their dreams came true!
