Weiwei + Tim’s Wedding | Vista at the Top of the Tower, Philadelphia, PA

SchultzWedding_0482

Weiwei and Tim initially met each other at Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.  So when it came time to start planning their wedding, they knew that the City of Brotherly Love was the place to have it!  From getting ready at the Logan Hotel, to getting married at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, to dinner and dancing at the Top of the Tower…it was a perfect Philadelphia wedding.

While Mother Nature decided to throw a few raindrops our way, that definitely didn’t stop Weiwei and Tim from their plans of pictures in the city.  With stops at Broad Street, Elfreth’s Alley and Drexel University – it was an afternoon of iconic spots that were so important to this couple.

Weiwei and Tim, thank you so much for having us as invited guests during this most special time in your lives!  Congratulations.

DJ graduates college

The day finally arrived —  Friday, June 15, 2012.

Not just any other Friday. This day was special.

It was the day Daniel James Capone would graduate from Drexel University.

Five solid years of hard work and determination, and one of only a handful of students, DJ graduated summa cum laude,  with honors, AND a MASTERS DEGREE.

Incredible!

So at 1:30 in the afternoon, the stage was set, the place was packed, and the students began to enter into the room. It was a great moment when the students graduating summa cum laude were asked to stand up..

The keynote speaker was internationally recognized environmentalist, biologist, and author Dr. Paul Ehrlich.

Afterwards, DJ accepts his diploma from school president, John Fry.

Lauren and James’ Wedding – Lucien’s Manor

The day began at Lauren’s home where she, her bridesmaids and flower girl started the celebration early by dancing in the street – literally!  Lauren made an absolutely beautiful bride and her bridesmaids looked great in their Tiffany-blue dresses.  Did someone say Tiffany’s?  That just happens to be Lauren’s favorite store and exactly where her wedding gift to James came from.  A striking pair of cuff links, which he couldn’t wait to show off for us.

Lauren and James are both graduates of Drexel University, which is where they met.  In fact, the teacher who introduced them was a guest at their wedding.  You have to admit – that has to be a pretty good feeling for him.

The wedding ceremony took place in the Versailles Ballroom at Lucien’s Manor.  Flowers and décor by Addie Rose Florists, who also did a terrific job decorating the La Grande Ballroom, where the reception took place.

The newlyweds’ loud and lively introduction was topped only by the amazing ballroom dance they performed for their guests.  Wow, they made it look so easy!

Lauren’s father then welcomed their guests with a very heartfelt, emotional speech, which left very few dry eyes in the house. We think Lauren’s mom cried the most.

We teamed up with GM Elliott Video of Williamstown, NJ and Mike Scott from DiNardo Brothers Entertainment, people we always enjoy working with.  Mike had the dance floor rockin’ all night, as usual.  The bride and groom took a quick break from dancing to spend a little time  in their Photo Booth for a few fun pictures, provided by The Final Details of Berlin, NJ.

Lauren and James, it’s easy to see why you are such a special pair.  After working with your parents and families, and listening to the speeches given at your reception, it is obvious that you are both much loved by so many people.  It’s only fitting that you have the same to give to each other.  To many years of love!!  For more images from your elegant affair, check out our Facebook page by clicking HERE.
