They held hands and walked through Washington Park.  In the distance, a man sat on a bench strumming his guitar.  Marcy and David embraced the moment and began dancing, twirling and laughing.  They considered it practice before their first official dance as husband and wife.  And while Marcy and David danced to the man playing his guitar, love must have been in the air!  Another couple who spent the afternoon in the park, stood by and watched.  They hugged each other and began dancing along with Marcy and David.  Love is a beautiful thing!

The day started at the Courtyard Marriott in Downtown Philadelphia, as Janey sat in a chair and had her makeup applied by Jina of JAC Beauty.  Bridesmaids helped Janey slip into her Casablanca wedding gown and step into her pink Manolo Blahnik heels.  As the finishing touches of Janey’s lipstick were applied, her elegant pearl jewelry from Tiffany & Co. and Mikimoto were fastened.  Her bridesmaids, family and friends cheered for joy as Janey had turned into a beautiful bride.

Eugene patiently waited in the hotel suite right next door to where Janey got ready.  Groomsmen assisted in helping Eugene get ready, then celebrated the Groom-to-Be with a shot of Macallan 12.  Even though it wasn’t the Bacardi 151 they used to drink back in their college years, Eugene and his men toasted to all of their past memories and and so many more to come.  Including all of those with Eugene’s future wife.

Janey and Eugene’s ceremony and reception were held at the modern Tendenza in Northern Liberties, and floral arrangements were created by the always innovative Il Fiore Bianco.  It was an ultra chic wedding from beginning to end!

A bouquet of roses were arranged perfectly in a beautiful vase.  Along with it was a card that read, “Thanks for making this the best day of my life.  Love, Luke”.  Dana and Luke played by the ‘rules’ and didn’t speak to one another the morning of their wedding day.  They anticipated that special moment, when they would see each other for the first time, on the altar at Saint Rita of Cascia in Philadelphia, PA.  However, the bouquet of roses with a heartfelt message…pretty much said it all!

They celebrated in style at the amazingly stunning Atrium at the Curtis Center.  Dana and Luke mingled with guests during cocktail hour, fell in love with their floral arrangements by Il Fiore Bianco, were greeted with rose petal confetti as they were announced as Mr. and Mrs., were surprised by fireworks on their wedding cake, and oh…let’s not forget how they strutted their stuff to an awesome performance by the one and only Philadelphia Mummers!  It was a night to remember for Dana and Luke, as well as for all of their family and friends.
