Katie and Alex’s Wedding – Hyatt Penns Landing, Philadelphia, PA

It’s great when we pull up to the home at the same time the bride and her maids are returning from the salon.  All you have to do is look at the bride’s face as she gets out of the car, to know that she has never felt like this before and never will again.  Katie is the perfect example of this.  She is such a beautiful bride, and so ready to get married.  Just looking at her, you can tell that she can’t wait for Alex to see her.

The limo pulls up to the church.  Alex and his groomsmen get out and make their way up the steps and inside.  Alex looks great, a little nervous, but very ready to marry Katie.  Just looking at him, you can tell that he can’t wait to see her.

Finally, Katie’s father walks her down the aisle and gives her away to Alex.  Just looking at them, you can tell that Katie and Alex are so happy to finally see each other.

Katie and Alex are a fun couple who love to laugh and have a good time. Their wedding day had the same vibe. They just kicked back and took in every moment.  They enjoyed the evening celebrating with their family, friends, and adorable nieces and nephews at the Hyatt at Penns Landing.  A fitting end to a long anticipated day.

Katie and Alex, on your wedding day you paused for a minute to dance during your photo session.  Just looking at the two of you, one could tell that it was a moment in time that meant so much.  You were in a place where only you two will ever know.  May your future together bring you many, many more of those same moments…enjoy!  And please be sure to take a look at some more images on our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Christina and John’s Wedding – Cescaphe Ballroom, Philadelphia, PA

Today is Christina’s birthday.  Today is Christina’s wedding day.  Today is a day she will never forget.  She looks stunning in her Rivini and said that shopping for it at Kleinfeld in Manhattan was an “awesome experience.”

John and his groomsmen wait patiently in the hotel lobby for the trolley, which will take them to the Philadelphia Art Museum.  He and Christina are going to meet for the first time before the ceremony for their photographs.

So far, it has been an emotional and anxious time, but during that intense moment when Christina and John finally get to see and hold each other on their wedding day – everything is perfect.  What a good feeling!  Their ceremony is at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox in Cherry Hill.  It’s a beautiful, ornate church filled with family and friends who were all there to share this amazing day.  After their ceremony, Christina and John were showered in bubbles.

CescaphÈ is, in one word, exquisite! Joe and his team always do it up right.  After an impressive cocktail hour, Christina and John are introduced to the crowd as they descend a stairway alive with sparklers – it’s so cool!   DiNardo Brothers and A&A Celebrations provided just the right music to keep the party going all night.  As Christina and John danced their first dance, a bottle of Cristal is placed next to their table.  The Cristal reflects them and their day – top notch.

Christina and John, your day was fabulous!  It was filled with wonderful people and truly happy moments, as we are sure the rest of your life together will be.  Enjoy the sneak peeks below and then see a few more on our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Precious in Purple

The last time Caroline came to our studio, we photographed her 1 Month Portraits.  She’s now 6 months…can you believe how much she’s grown since then?!  Her baby teeth are coming in, she’s sitting upright, and getting ready to take her first steps.  It truly is amazing!  We’re just glad to be apart of it.

Before Caroline was even born, her mom told us that Caroline was going to LOVE getting her pictures taken.  Well Sabrina…you were right!!  Caroline was an awesome model, smiling every bit of the way.  She’s absolutely adorable!

We’re looking forward to photographing and posting Caroline’s next visit.  Until then, enjoy the teasers below and please don’t forget to see a few more on our Facebook page.  Just click HERE.

Our Fabulous Bride, Alexis

She’s sassy.  She’s stunning.  She’s our bride!  Could our job get any better?!  During this Post-Bridal Session, we headed to some “different” locations.  Different is always a good thing 😉  The juxtapositon of the beautiful bride and the grungy location is so cool to us.  We love thinking “outside of the box”.

We’d like to extend our thanks to Alexis.  You’re a natural, or as Tyra would say, “FIERCE”.  For some more awesome imagery, be sure to check out our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Shiby and Robin’s Wedding – Crowne Plaza, Cherry Hill, NJ

Calm, cool, and collected, Robin waits in his hotel suite for the arrival of his groomsmen and family.  He is excited to show us the sari he bought as a gift for Shiby to wear at their reception.  It’s absolutely gorgeous and so beautifully decorated.  Everyone begins to arrive, and the reality of the day sets in.

Hustle, bustle, and a home filled with family and friends, the always-energetic Shiby steps into her gown and does the last minute touches.  Shiby always has a smile on her face, but today, it is so much more than her usual.  She is ready…ready to spend her forever with Robin!  Traditional gift giving, prayers, and blessings involving Shiby and her family, take place in their home just before leaving for the church.  Even Shiby’s dog Tommy was there to wish her well.  🙂

The ceremony at Haddonfield United Methodist, included many wedding traditions from India.  The church is completely filled with hundreds of relatives and friends, many who came all the way from India, just for this incredible day.  Indian weddings are so vivid!  Saris in so many vibrant, beautiful colors are perfect for a wedding celebration.

At the reception in the Crowne Plaza of Cherry Hill, the wedding party surprises everyone with a fun and very well choreographed dance.  A 90’s medley of throw back tunes…you can’t go wrong with that.  It was awesome!  Shiby and Robin are followed by friends and loved ones, who make speeches and raise their glasses to toast these two very special people, who will never forget this exceptional day.  There are many kinds words, mixed with tears and laughter.

Shiby and Robin, your wedding day was a celebration filled with excitement, culture, blessings, and many wonderful people.  You enjoyed, laughed, and loved the entire day.  May your life together be everything you hope for!  Enjoy the teasers below and don’t forget to go to our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

The Redding Family

We’re on a roll!  Two blogs in two days.  Busy is good!

We were so excited to work with the Redding’s in capturing one of their first family portraits.  For some families, it’s a rare opportunity to get a group portrait taken…we know it took FOREVER to get ours!!  Rhyse is such an adorable little girl, with so much spunk and energy.  She definitely kept us on our toes the whole time.  🙂  Rhyse’s mom tells us she checks on our blog and Facebook page all the time (thanks Cory, you rock!), so as promised we wanted to share some of the very cool photos we captured.

Enjoy the images here and be sure to get another glimpse at some teasers on our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

The Heary Family

One of the coolest things about our job is when we get to see our wedding couples transition into parents!  So when the Heary Family came to see us for a family portrait, we were so excited to work with Carol and Steve again and also get to meet their two handsome sons for the first time.  They wanted more Lifestyle Portraiture – a more documentary, photojournalistic approach to photographing families and children.  The Hearys are all about having fun and just being themselves.  We had such a great time!

Carol and Steve – it was such a pleasure seeing the both of you again, and we’re so glad you brought the little guys to meet us.  We’re looking forward to working with you again, in future sessions to come.  Here is a glimpse at just some of the images we created, and be sure to see some more on our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Taraysa and John’s Wedding – Crowne Plaza, Cherry Hill, NJ

Caulk_JJC_6239

What seemed like the never ending month of rain, turned out to be a beautiful Friday for Taraysa and John.  Another great day with a super cool couple.  Perfect!

Their ceremony was held at Saint Peter’s in Merchantville, followed by their extravagant reception at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.  As you saw from our last post, we got to work at the Riverside Pavilion again.  We actually spent quite a few weekends at the Crowne Plaza, which is great…we LOVE it there!  😉  We also got to work along side of Glen Elliott of GM Elliott Videography, as well as Steve Pasquini of Steve and Company Entertainment.  It’s always a pleasure working with such a great crew of vendors!  We had such a fun time with our couple, as well as their family and friends in creating imagery for real people, capturing real smiles, and reliving real moments.  We hope you’ve enjoyed the Team Capone experience.

Here are some teasers from the day, and be sure to check out more on our Facebook Page by clicking HERE.
