Jennifer and Tim’s Engagement – Philadelphia Art Museum

Music.  It can be a daily form of entertainment for most everyone, but to Jennifer and Tim – it’s their passion…it’s what brought them together!

We had a great time with Jennifer and Tim at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.  They are so in love and totally compatible with each other.  It made their ‘Get to Know You’ session so much fun ;  light-hearted and easy.  They love the camera, and the camera surely loves them right back!

Jennifer and Tim – your September wedding will be here before you even know it.  We’re looking forward to working with you again in the city of brotherly love.  Because after all, it is all about   L-O-V-E. 🙂  To see more from their GTKY shoot, go to our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Liz and Rich’s Wedding – Cescaphe Ballroom, Philadelphia, PA

It began as another rainy Saturday morning, but that didn’t matter to Liz and Rich.  They weren’t going to let a little thing like the weather effect their big day!

We arrived at Rich’s house in South Philly.  The front window was decorated with a sign that read “Groom’s House,” complete with a champagne bottle and top hat.  It wasn’t hard to tell we were in the right spot!  Rich and all of the guys got ready, and then hung out for a while enjoying each other’s company.  They even toasted the groom before heading over to the church.

Only a few blocks away from Rich’s house, Liz was super excited and couldn’t wait to get dressed.  With the help of her mother and sister, it was easy.  Not only did Liz look fabulous in her Rosa Clara gown, but her sexy Christian Louboutin shoes completed the look.

The guests were just as enthusiastic as the bride and groom when they arrived at Epiphany of Our Lord Church in Philadelphia.  As the bride and groom made their way to the ceremony in their Rolls Royce, family and friends stood at the top of the church steps taking pictures of this happy day.  Liz and Rich were all smiles (and even laughter) as they exchanged rings and became one.

After a few ‘traffic stopping’ shots in the middle of Broad Street and some very cool images under the Ben Franklin Bridge, it was on to the outstanding Cescaphé Ballroom for the reception.  The combination of music from DJ Johnny Looch and the lively crowd, made the party awesome.  It was nothing but first class for Liz and Rich’s wedding.

Liz and Rich, you are both surrounded by wonderful families and many good friends.  Everything about your day was ‘feel good’.  May your lives together give you that same feeling for many, many years to come!

Michelle and Joseph’s Wedding – Ballroom at the Ben, Philadelphia

Michelle, stunning in her Badgley Mischka, anxiously steps out of her limo and enters the church where she will soon become Joe’s wife.  Joe, with the biggest smile on his face, waits in a small room behind the very altar where he will soon become Michelle’s husband.

Filled with many loved ones, the Church of St. Nicholas of Tolentine in South Philadelphia is the perfect setting where Michelle and Joe make a promise.  Their promise is forever.  They exchange rings and become husband and wife.

The day is topped off with an elegant, Hollywood-Glam inspired reception at the Ballroom at the Ben, where Chris DiNardo of Steve and Company keeps the crowd moving…complete with the “Mummer’s Strut.”  We also had the pleasure of working with Glen and Violet of GM Elliott Video, who were there to capture footage of this extravagant affair.

Michelle and Joe, you couldn’t have picked a better quote for your wedding programs to sum up your day :

“I dreamed of a wedding of elaborate elegance,  A church filled with family and friends.  I asked him what kind of a wedding he wished for.  He said one that would make me his wife.”  – Author unknown

On this day, their dreams came true!

Lindsey and Brian’s Wedding – Hilton City Line, Philadelphia, PA

The Bridal suite was filled with activity.  Bridesmaids were getting their hair and makeup done, mimosas were the drink of choice, and the mother of the bride made sure that her daughter’s dress, veil, shoes, and jewelry were ready to go. There was a bit of inclement weather that morning, but the groom sent the bride a beautiful bouquet of roses with a card that read “If it’s raining, here is a little sunshine for you.” He always knows how to put a smile on her face!

The quiet church grounds suddenly came alive as the groom arrived, accompanied by his family and groomsmen. Soon after, the guests were greeted by the sound of bagpipes as they entered St. Bridget’s to witness the marriage of Lindsey and Brian.

After the ceremony, we had a great time taking pictures with the fun-loving and energetic wedding party on the infamous steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The reception at the Hilton on City Avenue in Philadelphia began with heartfelt, emotional speeches from Lindsey’s sisters and Brian’s best man, who happened to be his father. Loud cheers from the guests sounded the room as Brian’s dad gave a toast. He then honored his son and new daughter-in-law by performing a personalized song he wrote himself. It brought tears to everyone’s eyes. Even ours!

The party that followed was a blast! The dance floor was packed all night long as everyone enjoyed themselves and partied to music by John DiNardo of DiNardo Brothers Entertainment. Lindsey and Brian were right there with them, enjoying every minute of it.

Lindsey and Brian, the two of you obviously enjoy being around family and friends. May your lives together be filled with many years of happiness.  For a glimpse at a few more images from their wedding, please go to our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Jennifer and Ed’s Wedding – The Merion, Cinnaminson, NJ

Jenn and Ed like to plan ahead – way ahead.  They booked our services before they were even engaged!  Almost two weeks before their wedding, when they realized that rain was a distinct possibility for their special day, they booked the Presidential Suite at the Four Seasons hotel in Philadelphia.  Detail oriented Jen knew by doing so, they would have a great indoor location for pictures — just in case.  Guess what? The plan worked.  In the suite, family and longtime friends watched as Jenn and Ed met for the first time that day.  It was a very emotional and long lasting moment that included cheers, applause and quite a few tears.

Up for anything, the bride and groom took to the center of the Ben Franklin Parkway for a few shots in front of City Hall, under the cover of an umbrella of course!  After their ceremony at Sacred Heart Church in Riverside, Jenn and Ed braved the rain one more time for some gorgeous images at a nearby location.  They definitely had no problem snuggling under that umbrella again!

A reception at the Merion’s Palace Ballroom in Cinnaminson, NJ topped off their day. The facility looked absolutely gorgeous.  John DiNardo of DiNardo Brothers Entertainment had the party going all night. And Lou Iovino, of Iovino Video Productions, covered the day’s progress.

Jenn and Ed, you planned an incredible event and enjoyed every minute of it.  The rainy day was outshined by your great spirits and warm personalities. You made it into one unforgettable day.  May your future together be as beautiful! And whenever it rains – remember to share one umbrella!

Having some fun with our couple at the end of the night!!!

Congratulations again, Jenn and Ed.

Christina and Steven’s Engagement

When it comes to pictures, Christina and Steven told us they love “different.”  So do we!

During our time together in Philadelphia, we asked Christina and Steven if they frequent the city.  They both proclaimed that they love going to restaurants, El Vez in particular.  We love trying out new places, so hearing about fantastic restaurants is fine by us.  😉

Here is a sneak peak at some of the images we created from Christina and Steven’s ‘get to know you’ session.  To see more, please visit our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Krystle and Jon’s Engagement

He’s a Yankees fan.  She’s a Phillies fan.  They were engaged in New York.  They wanted their engagement pictures taken in Philadelphia.  When it comes to the battle of the East Coast cities, Krystle and Jon like to compromise!

Believe it or not, this was Jon’s first time in Philadelphia.  Not only was the session intended for their engagement portraits, but we were also able to give our couple a “mini tour” of Center City, stopping at LOVE park and even City Hall.  Of course, the tour wouldn’t have been complete without an appearance by a couple of Pancakes from IHop.  Yes, that’s right IHop..as in “International House of Pancakes”.  It was the perfect ending to Jon’s first time in Philadelphia!!  🙂

Jennifer and Ryan’s Engagement

Jennifer and Ryan’s engagement actually took place in Portugal.  Specifically, on the back veranda of Jennifer’s parent’s home.  How romantic!  So while we didn’t take the trip overseas to recreate that special occasion, we DID take a trip up I 95 to a place called Bowman’s Hill Tower.  The view from 125 feet in the air overlooking the Delaware River Valley was spectacular.  The autumn foliage was just beautiful…and so were our couple!

After spending time at the historic park, we changed the scenery up a bit and did some “urban chic”.  Jennifer and Ryan like ‘different’.  Talk about best of both worlds.  🙂

We know how excited Jennifer and Ryan are to see some teasers.  So, without further story – here they are!  For more images from their Get to Know You session, check out our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Elizabeth and Richard’s Engagement

There are so many great things about Philadelphia.  Not only is it close, but it also provides so many different sceneries.  It’s perfect for a park location and even a more urban look.  For Elizabeth and Richard, the Art Museum was that perfect place.

Spending time with Elizabeth and Richard, we got the opportunity to know more about them.  At one point, Elizabeth confessed she was nervous about the ‘Get to Know You’ session.  She then laughed and said, “I don’t know why I was so nervous.  This is so much fun”!

With only 163 days left until their wedding, here are the images from their engagement portraits.  For even more images, check out our Facebook page by clicking HERE.
