25 Years of Motivation came to Philadelphia

The Get Motivated! Seminar was held yesterday at Philadelphia’s Wachovia Center.  We arrived at 7 A.M. (what we THOUGHT was early) and it was already packed!

The purpose of the seminar was to motivate individuals to achieve greater success in their business as well as every day life.  This star-studded event was jam packed with wonderful knowledge, excitement, and positivity.  From well known celebrities such as Charlie Manuel (coach of the Philadelphia Phillies), Donovan McNabb (Eagles Quarterback), Steve Forbes (founder of Forbes Magazine), Cole Hamels (Philadelphia Phillies pitcher), Rudy Giuliani (former Mayor of New York City), and even General Colin Powell (former Secretary of State) all gave a little insight into their success.  It was quite inspirational.  There was even a raffle for a 47” Insignia LCD, a dance contest for a trip to Disney World, and even a drawing for $10,000!   Unfortunately, we didn’t win.  Better luck next year.  🙂

If any of you were unable to attend this years event, here are images that we captured…only a few rows away from center stage.

Shari and Gordon’s Wedding – Marriott Downtown, Philadelphia, PA

We started the day in South Jersey, where our beautiful bride stepped into her Eve of Milady gown.  We continued the rest of our day in Philadelphia, where we met Gordon, his groomsmen, and the families at the Art Museum.  Shari and Gordon decided to meet each other and take pictures before the ceremony.  So when the two of them saw each other for the first time, the emotion was quite powerful.  Tears from our Bride and Groom as well as loving cheers from their friends and family, definitely provided us with some great photojournalistic images!

Their ceremony and reception were both held at the Downtown Marriott in Philadelphia.  We had the pleasure of working with Iovino Video Productions and rocking out to the awesome sounds of Shari and Gordon’s entertainment, Band of Gold.  Shari even had a little surprise for Gordon, when she had a bagpipe player make an appearance.

Shari and Gordon – we appreciate the opportunity to work with you, your friends, and families.  We had such a great time with all of you and can’t wait to work with you again!

Christina, John, and their “Little Man”

Where do you take pictures of a family that is “Philly Phanatical”? At Citizens Bank Park, of course.  They came fully decked out in Phillies garb, complete with little John’s hat and bats!  They frequent games during the season and when Little John was asked, “What’s Shane Victorino’s nickname?”  His reply, “…the flyin’ Hawaiian” of course!  😉

Great time, guys! Here are some teasers from their session, and be sure to check out some more on our Facebook page.  Just Click Here.

Caitlin and her “Krispy!”

Caitlin is a big America’s Next Top Model fan.  Kris has spent a large part of his life playing music.  So when we met up with the two of them for their engagement session, we decided to throw a little inspiration their way by having them channel their inner ‘model’ and ‘rock star.’  They did just that!

Caitlin and Kris’ first date was at the Philadelphia Art Museum (awww), so it made sense that we spent a little time taking some pictures there.  We ended our session over on South Street, complete with skateboarders, city street lights, and of course – Downey’s Pub.  Enjoy a sneak peak at some of the images here and DON’T FORGET to go on our Facebook page for some more images.  Just CLICK HERE.

Getting to Know Jenn and Ed

We got to work with Jenn and Ed in Philadelphia, PA for their engagement session.  We started in Old City, at the EXACT location where Ed proposed to Jenn.  It was quite the romantic setting.

We continued to work with them at a few other locations in the city, and even stumbled upon a crowded Love Park where a speech was being given by none other than Philadelphia’s Mayor, Michael Nutter!

All of us had such a great time and we’re anxious to work with them again soon!  A special thanks to our couple.  We hope you enjoy a glimpse at some of your images.  🙂  And don’t forget to see some MORE on our Facebook Page.

Burke Wedding – The Atrium, at the Curtis Center, Philadelphia, PA

Megan and Greg’s relationship dates back to their freshman year at Gloucester Catholic. Talk about high school sweethearts!

Their ’09 winter wedding definitely lived up to it’s time of the year..it was REALLY cold this day, but Megan, Greg, their family, and friends really kept our minds off of the fact we couldn’t feel our shutter finger!  Thanks for hangin’ in there everyone!!

We started at the Omni Hotel in Philadelphia and carried out the Philly theme throughout the course of the day. Their ceremony was at the beautiful Saint Mary’s Church in Gloucester, NJ. Followed by the reception (back over in Philadelphia) at the Curtis Center, catered by Cescaphe. We did a lot of traveling that day!! 🙂

Congratulations Megan and Greg!

The wind helped with this picture, but also helped with the single digit temperatures!!

LOVE this picture.  It really shows how much fun they were having.  How often do you get to walk the streets of Philadelphia…in a wedding dress?!

So because Megan and Greg met at Gloucester Catholic High School, it was only natural that we roamed the halls and captured some killer imagery!
