Some would say that photography is our “job”. However, we are blessed with the most wonderful clients/friends, that photographing their milestones is far from being a “job”. We’ve been documenting this beautiful family for the past decade (…we can’t believe it either!), and to say that it’s always a pleasure working with them is truly an understatement. We can’t believe how fast the years have flown, especially now that Derek is 8 months old. Isn’t he enough to just melt your heart?!
Oh – how that very first year in a baby’s life just flies by! We feel like it was only yesterday when we first met this sweet little boy. At just 13 days old, Michael melted our hearts. He then returned to our studio just a few months later, when we celebrated the next milestone in his life – 6 months. And now, Michael is the big O-N-E. Can you believe it? This blue eyed, curly haired little gentleman is such a charmer…and a laugh that will just make you smile.
Here are a few of our favorite images from Michael’s First Birthday…
It’s crazy to think how many years we’ve known this family (8 years, to be exact)! But it’s even more wonderful knowing that we’ve grown a bond with this group that will definitely last for so many more years to come. This family portrait has been in the making for a bit now…we’re just glad it finally happened. We understand that everyone’s lives get hectic, but you should never forget to take the time to document your family’s history. Portraits are your personal story, and the connection to the people you love the most.
This family is so adorable, that we wanted to share a few of our favorites from this session…
We’ve had the honor of knowing Krystal ever since she was a little girl, so when she contacted us about photographing her brand new family, we could not have been any more excited! This past September, she and Aaron were blessed with the arrival of their son, River. How great is that name, by the way!? To say that Krystal and Aaron are ‘over-the-moon’ about their son, is quite the understatement. This family of 3 is absolutely perfect and we are so thankful to have created photographs that they will always cherish.
Here are some of our favorite images from this family session…
A couple of things about this next photograph – the hospital where River was delivered issued Krystal and Aaron a keepsake newspaper from the day he was born, so of course, it had to be used in some pictures! Not to mention, this image always cracks us up because it’s as if River is saying “YES!”
Just 5 months ago, we had the honor of meeting Summer – an adorable blue eyed beauty! During her newborn session, she brought along her mom’s wedding veil, as well as her mom’s very first teddy bear. They were the perfect sentimental props. However, this time, Summer brought some “props” that are far more sentimental than anything else…her mom and dad!
Here are some of our favorite images from Summer’s 6 month portraits…
It seems like only yesterday when Miss Madison (…along with mom and dad) came to visit us for her newborn session. She was a tiny little beauty full of smiles at only 1 month old. Just 8 months later, we got to photograph Madison’s 9 month session. While she may have grown up just a bit, one thing most certainly remained the same – all of those smiles! And now, we got the chance to celebrate one of many milestones in Madison’s life, as she turned one.
Here are some of our favorites (and there are definitely MANY more) from Madison’s 1 year session…
Madison’s mom got this absolutely GORGEOUS cake made just for this occasion…
…because a first birthday celebration just wouldn’t be complete without a cake smash! We’re guessing that Madison loved the cake because once she started, she didn’t want to stop.
There’s nothing like being a part of people’s lives. From engagement sessions, to weddings, to families – photography is our way of capturing a moment in time. So as we sat with Shari, Gordon and their new beautiful baby girl, Madison, we couldn’t believe that there were two celebratory occasions, all within the week. For Shari and Gordon, it was their 5 year wedding anniversary (which we STILL can’t believe was that long ago!), while Madison was celebrating her 1 month birthday.
Shari, Gordon and Madison – here’s to MANY more celebratory events in your life, as a new family. Congratulations. Mazel Tov.
2013 was an absolutely fantastic year for us. Between all of the weddings, family portraits and baby sessions…those 365 days seemed to go by in the blink of an eye. But you know what they say, right?! “Time flies when you’re having fun”. And with the continued support from our valued clients, that quote could not be any more accurate.
Baby Paul is just one of our baby clients born in 2013, who officially kicked off our 2014 season as he turned 6 months old. He is the cutest little man, who came decked out in his adorable striped bowtie, which was the perfect compliment to those big blue eyes. Accompanied by mom, dad and big brother Adam – this dynamic family is always a pleasure to see. Having worked together since 2011, we have a feeling that we’ll continue our relationship for many years to come!
Nicole and Brian started their relationship as high school sweethearts. Yup! High school! And over the course of those years, they’ve maintained such an amazing bond that has turned into a beautiful family of 4. Along with their adorable daughter Emma, Nicole and Brian welcomed their son Jack into the world. For Nicole and Brian, life doesn’t get much sweeter. We wish you all the absolute best!

It means so much to us to be able to give back. Christmas wouldn’t feel the same without us helping our friends at Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania, Voorhees Division. The annual holiday event makes a wonderful evening for those in need with leukemia, and other blood disorders. Shirley Landgraff has done an amazing job at coordinating this event, but after nearly 16 years, she is retiring to spend more time with her family. All of the amazing volunteers, from the Waterford Woman’s Club to the “elves” from a local school help to make the season bright. And, let’s not forget Santa!! After 7 years, we are blessed to be a part.
