Christina, John, and their “Little Man”

Where do you take pictures of a family that is “Philly Phanatical”? At Citizens Bank Park, of course.  They came fully decked out in Phillies garb, complete with little John’s hat and bats!  They frequent games during the season and when Little John was asked, “What’s Shane Victorino’s nickname?”  His reply, “…the flyin’ Hawaiian” of course!  😉

Great time, guys! Here are some teasers from their session, and be sure to check out some more on our Facebook page.  Just Click Here.

Memorial Day Celebration

We wanted to share with all of you, the fun time we had this past Monday.  Not only was it our annual Memorial Day Barbeque, but it was also an 83rd Birthday Party!  Father/Father-in-law/Pop-Pop Jim was surrounded by friends and family to celebrate another year younger!

We hope all of you had a great holiday weekend – full of friends, family, and relaxation.

Shiby and Robin’s Engagement Session #2

Welcome back to the work week everyone.  We hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend.

Here they are!  Just a few teasers from our Engagement Session in New York City with Shiby and Robin.  We had the opportunity to capture images at quite a few stand out places in New York including Times Square, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, and even Bryant Park (for all of you ‘fashionistas’ out there).  It was a lot of walking and a lot of fun!

We’d like to extend our gratitude to Shiby and Robin for the outstanding time we had with them in our studio AND our trip to the “Big Apple.”  We’re excited to work with them again on their wedding day, in just a few short weeks.  Enjoy the glimpse at some of the fun imagery and be sure to check out more on our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Jennifer and Thomas in Freehold, N.J.

Freehold, New Jersey – home  of the Monmouth Battlefield State Park, named  “Bicycle Capital of the World,” and also known for where Jennifer and Thomas had their first date!  There’s everyone’s history lesson for the day.  🙂

We got to spend some time with our couple in Central New Jersey, on the busy roads of Main Street.  We’d like to thank Jennifer and Thomas, for providing us the opportunity to work with them in such a ‘picturesque’ place.  So, here they are – just a few teasers from their engagement session.  Jennifer…the wait is over!!  And please don’t forget to see a few more images on our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Cooking For Kid’s Sake

Last night, we attended the third annual Cooking for Kids’ Sake event.  This is a very special cause to benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters Association.   Cooking for Kids’ Sake is a fine dining event, held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill, NJ featuring more than a dozen of our area’s best independently owned restaurants.  Our good friend, Joe Palombo of Mirabella Cafe, even took the time to explain to us this cool new idea behind South Jersey restaurants “going green.”  And you know Capone Photography is all about that!  If you too would like to know more about this (or know someone who may be interested in taking part), then check out the South Jersey Green Dining website.

Cooking for Kids’ Sake allows attendees to take part in the exciting live and silent auctions…WE DID! 🙂  There were quite a few eye catching prizes.  This year during the silent auction, we set our sights on the autographed Ryan Howard home run baseball (complete with 2 Phillies tickets), as well as the pair of autographed George Foreman boxing gloves…and we were the highest bidder!!!

May 26th, VIVA LA VIDA TOUR!

We walked away with some great prizes, and had a great time doing it knowing the money went to a worthwhile organizationn.  For those of you that couldn’t attend this year’s Cooking for Kids’ Sake event, there’s always next year.  The food is delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the cause…is priceless!  Be part of something that makes a difference.

Taraysa and John in Ocean City

We’re not going to lie…it was pretty chilly on the beach this particular day in Ocean City, N.J.  However, Taraysa and John did an absolutely fantastic job at not showing it in their images.  Not to mention, Taraysa wore a dress and John wore shorts – BURRR!  You have to give them credit for bearing the cold in that attire!

Their wedding is approaching quickly (time certainly does fly by), so be sure to check back soon for images from their special day.  Until then, here is a glimpse at some of the beautiful photographs we captured at their engagement session.  For a sneak peak at a few more pictures, please go to our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Tommy’s First Birthday

Tommy just turned the big O-N-E, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate in the special occasion with him and his family.  Tommy, his mom, and Grandmom came to our South Jersey studio and brought along some of his favorite toys, his birthday boy clothes (complete with birthday crown), and even his very cool “Thomas” chair.  He has some of the most handsome blue eyes and an adorable little smile!

Here are some teasers from his Birthday Session, and check out some more on our Facebook page by clicking HERE.

Happy ‘One Year’ Birthday to our little “model.”

We’re going to be MARTIANS!

Yup, that’s right!  It’s that time of the year again, when we blast off to M.A.R.S.  No, not the red planet!  M.A.R.S. stands for “Mid-Atlantic Regional School of Professional Photography.”  We’ll be heading down to Cape May, New Jersey for a week long program of education in our craft, long hours, and lack of sleep…but don’t worry, there are some parties scheduled in there too!  😉

We’ll be sure to post some images for all of you to see, so keep your eyes peeled.  In the mean time, feel free to go to the M.A.R.S. website and take a peak at what we’ll be doing.  Have a great week everyone and we’ll see you when we get back!!

PPANJ Convention

We spent this past Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at the PPANJ Statewide Convention. Held at Bally’s Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey, it was a great opportunity to see old friends, connect with new ones and learn a thing or two from the seminars by Don MacGregor, Jeff Lubin and Curt Littlecott. The weather was outstanding for the entire trip. Thanks to all the hardworking members who made the Convention a success.
