Chelsea + Michael’s Wedding – Philadelphia, PA

Starting out at the fabulous and accomodatiing Loews Hotel in Philadelphia for the ‘getting ready’ pictures, and then the reveal, followed by pictures in Old City, and then off to the Ballroom at the Ben for a beautiful candle-lit ceremony followed by a killer reception, everything was planned to a T. Couple that with a really nice Bride & Groom and a bridal party willing to brave the excessive heat outdoors to create some beautiful images, it’s what we might call a “picture perfect” day.

Chelsea and Michael, you were terrific. Thanks for being super clients! We wish you all the best!

One of the greatest places to take wedding images is in Philadelphia.  Whether it’s a park or iconic location, the city has so many great opportunities for creating such memorable images!  Ashley and Chris’ wedding covered all of those bases…and then some.

Their 7-11 wedding started off at the Loew’s Hotel Philadelphia…

Stephanie and Eric’s Wedding – The Ballroom at the Ben, Philadelphia, PA

Perhaps you remember the tale of Stephanie and Eric.  A story that dates back to when they were kids, and how their summer vacations turned out to be so much more.  These childhood sweethearts blossomed into a perfect pair, full of love and happiness.  It was no surprise to anyone that they would marry and live happily ever after.  Well, that happily ever after has officially begun.  Stephanie and Eric’s wedding was top notch.  Stephanie wore an exquisite Lazaro gown and matching lace Jimmy Choo heels, all floral arrangements were created by Carl Alan Floral Designs, while Jellyroll performed at Stephanie and Eric’s reception in the elegant Ballroom at the Ben, with cuisine by Finley Catering.  And, of course, rounding out the “A-List” for this magnificently beautiful winter wedding, Capone Photography was there to capture it all…

Michelle and Joseph’s Wedding – Ballroom at the Ben, Philadelphia

Michelle, stunning in her Badgley Mischka, anxiously steps out of her limo and enters the church where she will soon become Joe’s wife.  Joe, with the biggest smile on his face, waits in a small room behind the very altar where he will soon become Michelle’s husband.

Filled with many loved ones, the Church of St. Nicholas of Tolentine in South Philadelphia is the perfect setting where Michelle and Joe make a promise.  Their promise is forever.  They exchange rings and become husband and wife.

The day is topped off with an elegant, Hollywood-Glam inspired reception at the Ballroom at the Ben, where Chris DiNardo of Steve and Company keeps the crowd moving…complete with the “Mummer’s Strut.”  We also had the pleasure of working with Glen and Violet of GM Elliott Video, who were there to capture footage of this extravagant affair.

Michelle and Joe, you couldn’t have picked a better quote for your wedding programs to sum up your day :

“I dreamed of a wedding of elaborate elegance,  A church filled with family and friends.  I asked him what kind of a wedding he wished for.  He said one that would make me his wife.”  – Author unknown

On this day, their dreams came true!

Dana and Kevin’s Wedding – Ballroom at the Ben, Philadelphia, PA

Dana and Kevin’s wedding day began at the Downtown Marriott in Philadelphia.  Kevin and his Groomsmen, all longtime friends, shared a lot of laughs and some great stories while they hung out in Kevin’s room preparing for the day.

Dana and her Bridesmaids did their last minute touch-ups, got dressed and then popped open the champagne along with Dana’s parents.  Let the celebration begin!

Neither Dana nor Kevin showed any signs of being nervous.  They were ready to relax and enjoy it all, even as they met each other for the first time before their ceremony.  They held each other and took it all in while their wedding party and families cheered them on.

After making a few stops in the city for pictures, we made our way to the fabulous Ballroom at the Ben for a romantic, candle-lit ceremony that brought tears to quite a few eyes.

Dana and Kevin had a great time with their first dance as they wow-ed the crowd with their moves to The Beatles’, “I Saw Her Standing There.”  They are obviously a fun couple that loves to have a good time.

After listening to several moving tributes by their Maid of Honor and Best Man, the new Mr. and Mrs. partied the night away with their guests to the sounds of the Tribecca Grand band.
